My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, shapes and thoughts.
Already as a child I was fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continuously inspires me anew. On trips and while visiting numerous exhibitions across Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I deal mainly with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and interspaces that are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher frame sized 150 x 120 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by a craftsman or gallery.
This is a hand-made original, signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality and light-fast acrylic paints have been used on multi-layered white-primed gallery canvas.
