This painting feels like a quiet moment between calm and departure. The deep red recalls a blood moon — intense, warm, and at the same time mysterious. Beneath the monochrome surface, traces, shadows and movements seem to be hidden, as if the paint itself carries its own memories.

"Blood Moon" does not speak loudly. The image lives on tension and atmosphere: embers, closeness, darkness, and a almost physical warmth. The longer you look, the more the surface changes — sometimes soft and meditative, sometimes raw and unsettled.

The work invites you to not have to explain feelings, but simply to feel them.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio — a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, forms and thoughts.
Since I was a child I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and inspires me again and again. On my travels and while visiting numerous exhibitions in Europe, I was able to gather many artistic impressions that shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I deal primarily with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said — emotions, moods and interstices that are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself — an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher of size 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.

This is a handmade original, which is signed by the artist on the back and dated by year.

High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints were used on multi-layer white-primed gallery canvas.

A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
