This work evokes a place that is not quite tangible — somewhere between water, light and memory. The vibrant blues and greens meet warm yellow hues to create an atmosphere that is both lively and soothing. Like the view of a lagoon, the painting changes continuously: at times calm and clear, at other times moving and full of depth.

The many layers, marks and transitions give the painting an organic feel. It almost looks as if light reflections are dancing on the water, or as if the wind had carried colors across the surface for a brief moment.

Biographie:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly equipped studio — a place where I can immerse myself completely in my colors, forms and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This passion has never left me — it accompanies me to this day and continuously inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I could collect many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. My aim is to make visible what cannot be said — emotions, moods and spaces in between, which are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me, it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself — an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm, you need a cradled frame sized 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an art craftsman or gallery owner.

This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated for the year.

High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple-layer white-grounded gallery canvas.

A varnish was applied to protect the work as well.

This work is handmade and thus a one-of-a-kind!
