Description from the seller

Six full-color ships are shown, organized in three rows, with their era indicated below:
• 17th Century (Sec. XVII) — 4 ships
• 18th Century (Sec. XVIII) — 2 ships
Description of the vessels:
• Top left: Galleon or three-masted ship from the 17th century with beige sails.
• Top right: Warship with blue sails and a flag, typical of the 17th century.
• Middle left: Ship with purple/red sails, more ornate.
• Middle right: Warship with yellow sails, of more refined lines (late 17th or early 18th century).
• Bottom left: Warship with greenish sails and elevated stern, 17th-century style.
• Bottom right: Large warship with dark blue sails, closer to the 18th-century style.
Context:
This type of plate was very common in naval history books, encyclopedias, or educational collections of the 19th century. They serve to show the evolution of European sailing ships (especially Spanish, French, and English) between the 17th and 18th centuries: from heavier galleons to the faster, better-armed line ships.
In short: It is an educational plate that illustrates different types of ships and galleons from the 17th and 18th centuries, very useful for naval history studies or modeling.
