La Trappe Oak Aged (a barrel-aged variant of their strong ale). This is a dark, oak-aged beer with a rich, sweet malty flavor featuring vanilla, caramel, and light wood notes. Alcohol content around 10-11%. • Middle bottle: La Trappe Quadrupel (the special 25th anniversary edition 1991-2016). This is their classic quadrupel: dark, powerful (11%), with notes of raisins, candy sugar, dark fruit, and spices. This is La Trappe’s strongest and most famous beer.
