A beautiful and iconic glass artwork by the famous Murano master Loredano Rosin (1936-1992). This impressive sculpture depicts two figures ("Lovers") in an intimate pose, crafted with the rare and complex Calcedonia technique.
The Calcedonia technique, rediscovered by Rosin, uses silver nitrate to create unique color striations and an almost liquid-looking marble effect that changes with every angle of light. This particular piece features beautiful nuances of deep purple, amber, and green, resting on a solid glass base.
