This piece is made on an OSB panel (Oriented Strand Board) on which I applied layers of acrylics and resin, leaving the wooden slats that compose it clearly visible.

This artwork captures attention with its explosion of vibrant colors and its rich, almost tactile texture.
I depicted a female figure playing a harp, conveying a sense of grace and deep concentration. The colors blend and overlay in a way that evokes a dreamlike, almost ethereal atmosphere, perhaps alluding to the melody the musician is creating.

The painterly brushwork and the use of various shades of blue, pink, green and yellow create a dynamic and captivating visual effect, making the image seem almost luminescent.
It is a work that invites contemplation and free interpretation, evoking emotions and sensations related to the art of music.

Born in 1974 I am self-taught.

After an initial period devoted to sculpture there was a long pause lasting almost twenty years. Since December 2014 I have resumed with the “two dimensions” for reasons of time and space, leaving sculpture aside and dedicating myself to acrylic paintings.

I love painting abstract landscapes but recently I have been pushing myself to paint faces of people both imaginary and real.

For me painting is “freezing time” in that exact moment; a painting of mine is often a faded memory and therefore my works are “worn, eroded by time.” Sometimes the subjects of my paintings are glimpses of walls also eroded by time, with moss and mushrooms that – over time – grow on the surface.
The inexorable passing of time is the main theme of my works.

Coming from a beautiful experience with clay manipulation, I adore sculpture, the third dimension, the sense of touch, and my paintings are often characterized by reliefs clearly perceptible to the touch as well as to the naked eye.

In this recent period, after several years in which my works were made from scraps of recycled paper forming figures, I am pushing myself to explore Optical Art where I use painted wood discs arranged in lines and repeated grids with mathematical rigor that, when viewed up close, seem to form a colorful abstract picture, but as you move away a portrait emerges from the many painted wooden discs.

Violence against women is a theme that characterizes almost all my works when I reproduce female faces, precisely to give them a voice when they do not have the strength or the courage to report that they are not their partners' dolls and cannot be mistreated or worse, victims of violence.
