Description from the seller
Complete Lot "La Grande Poesia" - Corriere della Sera (2004) - 32 Volumes
Complete collection of the magazine series "La Grande Poesia", published in 32 volumes in 2004 as editorial supplement of Corriere della Sera (in collaboration with RCS Quotidiani and Mondadori licenses).
The work offers an overview of world poetry, from Dante Alighieri and Petrarch to the great 20th-century authors (Montale, Neruda, Dickinson, Plath, Ginsberg, Pascoli). Most of the volumes include the original text facing the Italian translation and prefaces/curatorship by well-known Italian critics and literary scholars (e.g., Giovanni Raboni for Montale, Giorgio De Rienzo for Dante).
A distinctive feature of the collection is the graphic design of the spines, studied to create a continuous and uniform color gradient effect when the volumes are placed side by side on the shelf.
Technical details and characteristics:
• Publisher: RCS Quotidiani / Corriere della Sera
• Year of publication: 2004
• Total number of volumes: 32 (Complete collection from Vol. 1 to Vol. 32)
• Binding: Hardcover with dust jacket
• Format: approx. 21 x 13 cm
• Language: Italian (with facing-page original texts for foreign authors)
