Acrylic painting on shredded paper on canvas
Framed; ready to hang
I create paintings using acrylic paints and thousands of small pieces of recycled paper: everyday paper becomes art instead of ending up in the trash.
In my latest works I have focused on the theme of women treated as objects (dolls) and too often victims of violence, and these are the last pieces I have created.
On these scraps of paper you can read random words and phrases scattered here and there.
Often this happens when we truly approach another person: sometimes we perceive their secret messages, sometimes not.
The work is sold framed and ready to hang thanks to the hook on the back.
The surface features small reliefs and I like to caress it, to feel it...
I also use acrylic resin on the surface, which gives a glossy effect and protects the colors from sunlight and dust.

This work represents passion and inner strength through the intensive use of color and the impressionist technique. I have combined acrylic painting with elements of collage to create an image that catches the eye, rich in energy and movement. My aim is to convey a sense of freedom and uniqueness, encouraging the viewer to reflect on their own identity and on not being defined by others.
This canvas will infuse dynamism and expressiveness, bringing a burst of inspiration and character to every space.

Each piece is securely packed, wrapped and protected for shipping and will arrive in a completely safe package, including the Certificate of Authenticity.
I use DHL/UPS courier: shipping within Europe arrives in 24/48 hours; international shipping arrives in 48/72 hours. Some delay days may be caused by customs clearance at borders.
Shipping takes about 7 days; about 10 days for non-EU countries.
A tracking number is provided.
Different light sources can give different colors to the photos.
The sizes may vary slightly as I personally prepare the wooden frame, stretch the canvas and fix it to the frame.
For additional photos and information, contact me!
Thank you.
Important notice for international buyers (non-EU):
Customs duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price nor in the shipping costs. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. The amount should be between 10% and 20% of the artwork value.

Born in 1974 I am self-t taught.
After an initial period devoted to sculpture there was a long pause lasting almost twenty years. Since December 2014 I resumed with the “two dimensions” for reasons of time and space, leaving sculpture behind and dedicating myself to acrylic paintings.
I love painting abstract landscapes but recently I am pushing myself to paint faces of people both imaginary and real.
For me painting is “freezing time” in that exact moment; a painting of mine is often a faded memory and therefore my works are “worn, eroded by time.” Sometimes my paintings depict corners of walls also eroded by time, with moss and fungi that - over time - grow on the surface.
Time which passes inexorably is the main theme of my works.
Coming from a beautiful experience with clay manipulation, I love sculpture, the third dimension, the sense of touch and my paintings are often characterized by reliefs clearly perceivable to the touch and to the naked eye.
In this recent period, after several years during which my works were made from scraps of recycled paper forming figures, I am venturing into Optical Art where I use painted wooden discs arranged in lines and grids repeated with mathematical precision which up close seem to form a colorful abstract painting but the more you distance yourself the more a portrait figure emerges from the many painted wooden discs.
Violence against women is a theme that characterizes almost all of my works when I reproduce female faces, precisely to give them a voice when they do not have the strength or courage to report that they are not their partner’s dolls and cannot be mistreated or worse, victims of violence.
