Description from the seller
ORIGINAL PENCIL DRAWING – CHEETAH CUB
The work depicts a cheetah cub shown frontally against a neutral white background. The reduced composition emphasizes the animal’s form, structure, and character, directing the viewer’s full attention to its gaze and the fine details of the drawing.
“Cheetah Cub” is part of the ongoing series “Wild Cat Cubs” - a body of work dedicated to wild cat cubs. Each piece is developed individually within a coherent conceptual framework.
ARTIST
Schu (b. 1976, Germany) is a contemporary figurative artist specializing in observational drawing focused on wild animals. His work is based on a minimalist approach to composition, the reduction of background elements, and precise realism derived from careful observation of structure, light, and detail. By isolating the subject, the artist draws attention to the relationship between the depicted animal and the viewer.
Schu studied graphic design at the University of Applied Sciences Trier (Germany), sculpture and design at the University of Kansas (USA), and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.
His works are held in private collections in Europe and internationally.
