Original 2008 edition, richly illustrated, with a foreword by Philippe Soellers, full-page colorimetric black-and-white duotone photographs, book with original dust jacket, and overall well preserved! French edition, predominantly illustrated, universal book, essentially composed of full-page photographs. Selection by the Artist Willy Ronis of his nude photos among the most emblematic, chosen with care from his thousands of photographic archives accumulated over half a century!
The copy is complete with original dust jacket, intact pages and illustrations, luxury hardcover in linen cloth, title inscription embossed. For fifty years, Willy Ronis captured every opportunity to reveal himself to the Nude. weaving a secret oeuvre whose finest moments had never been gathered. "At least eighteen of these photos are masterworks," writes Philippe Sollers.
