Description from the seller
Bowmore Legend – “Donnschie Mhor” Edition – 1990s vintage – 700 ml – 40% ABV. An exceptional, highly collectible vintage bottling of Bowmore Legend Single Malt Scotch Whisky dating from the mid-to-late 1990s. This specific release belongs to the legendary and retired limited-edition tin series produced by Morrison Bowmore Distillers, celebrating the rich myths and folklore of the Isle of Islay at the oldest operating distillery built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, after being acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their management, it was cultivated until it became one of the most collectible names in Scotch whisky. This bottle features the sought-after “Donnachie Mhor” legend tin complete with the detailed historical storytelling text and the stylized map of Scotland on the back. A key dating anchor for this piece is the official “Distillers of the year 1995” IWSC logo embossed on the tin, confirming this lot was packaged and released shortly after the award ceremony between 1996 and 1997. The capsule and main label are fully intact and the fill level is very good. Good vintage condition with minor signs of age as expected from a 30 years old metal container. This bottle represents the classic “old-style” Bowmore production era, offering a distinctively rich, maritime, and oily peat profile that is highly praised by modern whisky enthusiasts and collectors alike
