Apple iSight – Original FireWire webcam from 2003 – NEW (NEW in Box)
An absolute highlight for every Apple collector and lover of iconic vintage tech: the original Apple iSight from 2003 – never used, in the original Apple packaging.
The iSight was Apple’s first dedicated webcam and was specifically developed for the then-revolutionary video chat with iChat AV. With its minimalist aluminum design, high-quality craftsmanship, and the innovative mounting solution, it set new standards. The camera sits elegantly above the screen – for natural eye-to-eye recordings, in true Apple style.
Technical highlights:
• 1/4-inch CCD sensor with 640 × 480 pixel (VGA) resolution
• High-quality, three-element glass lens with autofocus (F/2.8) and aspherical elements
• Full-motion video up to 30 frames per second in 24-bit color
• Integrated dual-element microphone with effective noise suppression
• Power, audio, and video transmission via a single FireWire cable (IEEE 1394)
• Automatic exposure, color correction, and sharpness regulation
Included in the original packaging are, besides the camera, several mounting brackets (for displays, laptops, and round surfaces), a carrying case, FireWire cable, and the appropriate adapter.
