These two wooden frames with a wide frieze, finished in high-quality gold leaf, contain two oil paintings depicting countryside landscapes and figures, works by the artist Mario Santini. Hand-signed by the artist from the 1960s.

Mario Santini (1927–2015) was a Roman landscape painter with a highly developed academic training. He was an artist who remained faithful to a conception of art tied to the imitation of nature.
