Usually it is the letters of the alphabet that combine to signify something.
For once, the meanings themselves amuse themselves by forming letters, with some gymnastics. It results in a kind of engineer’s salute, playful in relation to language. It is also, for Hermès, an opportunity to soften about its private life: T, J, A and S are family initials.
