A luxurious and refined jewelry box (or presentation box) in Napoléon III / Rocaille style.
This prestige white porcelain piece stands out for its workmanship quality and its striking visual presence. The porcelain body is accented by a wide satin-gold band with a dotted motif, while the lid features a rich decoration of foliate arabesques and scrolls applied in bright gold.
The lid is personalized with an elegant hand-painted gold monogram “P.M.”. It is topped by a spectacular high fret (grip button) in gold-toned metal of lozenge-shaped openwork, entirely set with rhinestones (cut glass crystals).
