R. Nogueras is a contemporary artist based in the USA with more than 20 years of artistic career, whose pictorial research centers on this new series in the human figure understood as a space of friction between the private and the visible. His work, mainly created in oil and occasionally integrated with mixed media, positions itself in a dialogue between traditional painting and the visual languages of the digital environment. From there, he tackles issues related to surveillance, constant exposure, desire conditioned by the media, and the construction of identity in the context of contemporary networks.
