Vhils (Alexandre Farto, 1987) presents ACQUAINT, a 2020+ portrait in a limited edition of 100, hand-signed and numbered 80/100, created with a mixed technique including acid on a silkscreen, in black, beige and brown, 70 × 50 cm, country of origin unknown, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
An exceptional and highly collectible artwork by the internationally acclaimed urban artist Vhils (Alexandre Farto).
This piece is a unique variation from a limited edition of 100. Vhils utilized his signature innovative and destructive technique, applying acid onto a screenprint. Because the acid reacts organically and unpredictably with the paper and ink, every single print in this edition is entirely unique and different from the others. The chemical reaction creates the beautiful, raw, rust-and-coffee-colored textures that perfectly embody the artist's thematic focus on decay, memory, and layers.
The artwork is hand-signed by Alexandre Farto (Vhils) in the bottom right corner and hand-numbered xx/100 on the bottom left.
Provenance: Received in 2025 directly from the artist's studio via Ephemeral Ethernal (now Eterno Gallery).
Signature: Hand-signed by the artist in the bottom right.
Condition and Packaging:
The print is in excellent conditions. Crucially for serious collectors, the artwork will be shipped and delivered in its original shipping tube exactly as it was received from the studio.
An incredible opportunity to own a unique, hand-treated Vhils piece with direct studio provenance. Worldwide secure shipping inside its original protective packaging.
