The painting belongs to a series entitled "The Nude as Pretext", which themes male nudity. This project has been developed since 2014 up to the present date, comprising a series of paintings and drawings. One of the works from this project won in 2018 the "Premio Fondo de Adquisición de Pintura “Antonio López García”", in Spain.

Patrícia Trindade is a Portuguese artist, who has participated in exhibitions in Portugal, Spain, France, Denmark, Latvia, Mexico, USA, Montenegro, etc. Her works are in public museum collections; and works in private collections across Europe.

A pintura pertence a uma série intitulada "O Nu Enquanto Pretexto", que tem como tema a nudez masculina. Este projeto tem vindo a ser desenvolvido desde 2014, até à presente data, do qual constam uma série de pinturas e desenhos. Uma das obras deste projeto, ganhou em 2018 o "Premio Fondo de Adquisición de Pintura “Antonio López García”, em Espanha.

Patrícia Trindade é uma artista portuguesa, que já participou em exposições em Portugal, Espanha, França, Dinamarca, Letônia, México, USA, Montenegro, etc. Tem obras em coleções públicas de museus internacionais; e obras em coleções privadas por toda a Europa.
