An exceptional hand-carved sculptural African stool in which tribal symbolism, artisanal woodcraft and organic brutalist form come together to make a powerful statement piece.
This characterful sculptural stool/side table is made from solid hardwood and features an expressive triple-sided face design. From every angle the object reveals a different sculptural expression, making it not only functional as a side table or plant stand, but also a decorative art object.
The hand-carved mask motifs reference traditional African tribal visual language and give the object a strong, almost ceremonial appearance. The warm dark patina, visible wood grain and natural imperfections emphasize the authentic handmade character.
