Description from the seller
Title: Inner Horizon
Artist: Frías (signed)
Oil on canvas – 110 cm x 70 cm – 2026
In "Inner Horizon", Frías combines the symbolic strength of the horse with a geometric and contemporary composition loaded with balance and chromatic sensitivity.
The figure emerges between planes of color and abstract structures, creating a contemplative atmosphere where form and emotion dialogue in harmony.
The warm and luminous tones evoke serenity and depth, while the presence of the horse conveys freedom, intuition, and a connection with nature. The work reflects a visual search between the figurative and the abstract, a characteristic of the artist's personal language.
The condition of the artwork is excellent, and it has 5 cm of additional white canvas on the edges.
In the photographs the colors may appear slightly altered; in person the piece shows greater richness, texture, and luminosity.
The artwork will be carefully shipped protected and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
_______
I am an artist represented by 1819 Art Gallery, from Spain. I currently reside and develop my artistic work in Malaga, Spain.
I am a painter, draftsman, and art teacher, graduated in Cuba in 2006. For several years I worked as an art teacher in different educational centers, and later taught painting workshops in Finland.
My work has been exhibited in libraries, schools, cinemas, and art galleries in both Cuba and Finland. Among other exhibitions, in 2013 I presented my work at the International Cultural Center Caisa and at the Parliament of Finland, in Helsinki. In 2022 I exhibited at the Provincial Museum of Las Tunas, with an excellent public reception.
I have also participated in the annual performance festival “La Pupila Archivada” and I have created murals in different spaces in Cuba and Finland.
My work focuses on the human being: the body, its psychology, and its relationship with the environment. Nudity, erotism, and communication among people are fundamental elements in my artistic language. I paint as a form of research, to understand reality, beauty, and the essence of the human experience.
My works are part of private collections in Cuba, Finland, Russia, Egypt, Canada, and various European countries.
