A very beautiful lamp made of green opaline glass in the 'Gone With Hurricane Lamp' style
This lamp, dateable to the late 1800s to early 1900s, originated as a kerosene lamp
In fact, on the upper part the wick holder is still present, along with the side vents to aerate the combustion and the rotary regulator
With the common advent of electricity it was transformed into an electric lamp
From its remarkable size (height 50/60 cm), it shines with green jade opaline glass and a lampshade with flowers and leaves drawn using the engraving technique
No damage or chips are recorded
Beautiful for furnishing spaces that want to add a touch of historicity, to decorate shop windows or to embellish corners of the home with creative styles
