According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais's market value in 2021 was about €600-€2,000 for his paintings and prints-multiples, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A prolific and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the vein of Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to matter projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or Karel Appel’s expressionism, roaming the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, this material worked with the body, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue. An artist represented at the gallery Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutch Art in the Netherlands. Listed by Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau, Moldova, Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon; Paul Bocuse Abbey gala evening 2023.
