Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, together with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects were painstakingly handmade by me.
Parts show traces of handwork, which underscore the uniqueness of each object
Hand-signed
Ultramarine blue pigment powders that were produced in an elaborate mixture absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the ambient light
Hand-signed
Elephant is approx. 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black plate
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An essential characteristic of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The used motifs are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thus given a new life as "art objects"
