Lamp - Gilt bronze

A classic bronze-gold chandelier with crystal teardrops, very likely French or French-inspired, from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.

Style keys:
- Louis XV aesthetic / late Rococo: curved arms, scrolls, leaves and vegetal ornamentation. Candle format with white shades, very typical of bourgeois salons and manor houses.
- Cut crystals in droplets and prisms, designed to multiply the light.
- Worked gilded bronze, not simple brass: evident in the detail and the patina.
- The electrical wiring runs along the exterior because, at first, it was not an electric lamp
