Elegant and rare pair of busts depicting *San Pietro and San Paolo*, *pietra marmorina pietrificata*, a smooth and compact material, *not plaster nor scagliola* – therefore *ideal even for outdoor display*.

Both busts are mounted on exquisite bases in *marmo in ottime condizioni*. The sculptures show *defined features and careful detailing*, a work by an expert hand, probably *an Italian sculptor active in the mid-20th century* (*approximate period: 1940s–1960s*).
