This piece features rich engraved geometric ornamentation, typical of decorative or ceremonial bladed weapons of the Gulf, with handle, guard and sheath fully adorned with tribal motifs. The ensemble evokes the short jambiyas worn by caravanners and tribes of the Rub al-Khali desert, blending symbolic function, tribal identity, and social prestige.
