The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique and unrepeatable work. The dimensions of the work may vary slightly.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters by a hollowed portion. I consider this work a vindication of the Self against the perils of existence, but also an innate yearning upwards. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the peak is characterized as a set of parts that, if unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
