Description from the seller
This is a high-rim rigid cuff bracelet (cuff or slave model), characterized by a hinge opening with a central pin that makes it easy to put on. The silhouette is imposing and visually striking.
The exterior surface is entirely relief-worked with geometrical and floral motifs finely detailed. The pattern features an alternating arrangement of horizontal bands: some decorated with small four-petaled flowers, others embellished with micro-spheres and raised knotted elements.
The real strength lies in the upper and lower edges (Ghungroo), entirely finished with a cascade of small spherical hanging pendants (resembling bells or ghungroo typical of Indian tradition). These elements bring dynamism, movement, and a pleasant, discreet metallic rustle with every movement of the wrist.
The metal displays a splendid burnished/antiqued finish in the grooves, a technique that creates a strong chiaroscuro contrast (silver ox effect), highlighting the three-dimensional effect of the chased details and lending the piece a charm of times past.
