Marie Amédro - Mouvement noir n°7

Marie's work explores the dialogue between abstract painting and contemporary calligraphy. With Chinese ink on paper, she develops a gestural, spontaneous writing that she then transfers onto canvas in acrylic paint. The incorporation of natural materials, such as sand or linen, slows the gaze and introduces a tactile dimension, thus creating a tension between movement, surface, and silence. Her works offer an experience that is both contemplative and meditative.
