Fredi Gertsch presents an original mixed media acrylic on canvas titled Just Us Two – Side by Side - XL (95 × 82 cm), signed, created in 2026, depicting two cows with a vibrant coral, blue, white, yellow, black and turquoise palette, rolled for shipment.
Description from the seller
«Just Us Two – Side by Side» shows two cows, shoulder to shoulder, in glowing coral red. Their bodies are flat and clearly contoured, yet inside they are full of painterly depth: blue and gray tones, gestural brushstrokes, textured fragments, and golden-yellow accents overlap to create a richly structured inner life. One cow raises a hand in greeting, the other stands quietly beside it—a silent, warm scene full of familiarity. A small flower at the bottom right as the last smile. Two who need each other. That’s all there is.
Technique: Acrylic on canvas Dimensions (H × W): 95 × 82 cm Signature: Signed bottom left Year of creation: 2026 Edition: Unique
Condition: Very good, like new, no flaws. Shipping: The canvas is rolled without a frame and delivered in a sturdy shipping tube. Stretching onto a frame can be done locally by a framer or art shop and is a simple standard process.
About the artist: I am Fredi Gertsch, a Swiss contemporary painter with a studio and exhibition space in Burgdorf. Since 2021 I have worked in the historic town center at Kronenplatz—in a spacious ground-floor space with four large display windows where visitors can regularly see my latest works in their original form.
My art combines Pop Art and Street Art aesthetics: bold colors, clear lines, collage-like elements, and strong storytelling. Animals—especially cows, sheep, and birds—along with everyday objects, take the lead to explore social, ecological, and human themes with humor, warmth, and optimism.
Many works arise freely from imagination, without a reference image. Others begin with a digital sketch (Procreate), which I consciously transform and abstract during the painting process until a standalone work with my personal visual language emerges.
Exhibitions / Art Fairs (selection): Casa del Arte, Palma (2022, 2023) ART3F – International Contemporary Art Fair, Zürich (2023) Affordable Art Fair, New York (2015, 2018) Salon International d'Art Contemporain, Cannes (2018) Artspace Warehouse, Los Angeles (2018–2020) BEA, Bern (2021, 2022) Art International Zürich (2015, 2016) Kunstsupermarkt, Solothurn (2012–2024, multiple editions) Art de Suisse, Lucerne (2024) Kometa Kunstfestival, Burgdorf (2024)
In the past 16 years I have sold around 1,800 works—from small formats to large-scale pieces (up to 6.5 × 2 m). My paintings are in private collections worldwide, including in Zurich, Paris, New York, Singapore, Sydney, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, and Lausanne.
