Description from the seller
“Cash Ritual” — XXL Size
Introducing an original mixed media artwork by NO1R, created on cotton canvas using acrylic paint and spray techniques.
Titled “Cash Ritual”, this monochromatic composition transforms a familiar contemporary figure into a symbol of modern devotion. Standing against a deep black background, the character clutches a bag marked “CASH”, while dollar signs replace the eyes, suggesting a world where value, identity and obsession become inseparable.
The restrained palette gives the work a strong sculptural presence, allowing gesture, texture and contrast to dominate the composition. Dripping white paint cuts through the surface like erosion or decay, introducing a raw emotional tension beneath the clean graphic silhouette.
Rather than celebrating wealth directly, the piece reflects on the strange mythology surrounding money and status in contemporary culture. The childlike figure becomes almost ceremonial, caught somewhere between innocence, consumerism and silent collapse.
Painted entirely by hand on cotton canvas, the artwork balances street art energy with minimalist composition, creating a bold and atmospheric presence designed for contemporary interiors and collectors of urban influenced art.
