Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Extincteur Champ Clicquot Blk, aluminium sculpture by XTC, signed and numbered 18/30, dated 2026, 30 cm high, 8.5 cm deep and wide, created by aerosol painting with Montana paints and varnish, produced in France, in excellent condition, with COA.
Description from the seller
Veuve Clicquot champagne extinguisher, black, by XTC.
Fully painted with Montana spray paints and varnish.
Only painted, no stickers for a uniform result and better longevity over time.
Numbered out of 30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The piece sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but it will be similar.
Careful and trackable shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has transformed into a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot Champagne, or even caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addiction in general.
All defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work: it is a reclaimed empty (gas) extinguisher that may have surface flaws visible through the paint. (Of course it is prohibited to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels or pin are missing)
