XTC, Extincteur Tabasco HOT!, aluminium sculpture fully painted with aerosol paints and varnish, signed by hand, edition 16/30, 2026, dimensions 30 × 8.5 × 8.5 cm, France.
Description from the seller
Fire extinguisher Tabasco HOT! by XTC.
Fully painted with spray paints and varnish, no stickers; even the label is completely painted for a uniform finish and better durability over time.
Numbered out of 30 and signed on the back, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The item sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in central France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration became a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the staging of icons of popular consumption, which he makes clash with the world of luxury and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of plastic materials and sometimes mineral ones.
All possible defects or imperfections (repurposed extinguisher) are an integral part of the work.
Empty extinguisher. (It is, of course, forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels and/or the pin are missing)
