-------------------------------------
Bruno Cantais, a professional painter-artist based in Lyon, is registered as a Contributor at the Maison des Artistes.
Born in 1966 in Le Havre.
Bruno Cantais explores several techniques, ranging from Rauschenberg’s abstract expressionism, to matter projections, to Pop Art collage or to expressionism.
He probes the surface of the canvas, digging grooves that seem to open paths or sometimes fade in the fogs of color. His inspiration is order and disorder, the felt and the perceived, shadow and light, emptiness and fullness.
