MiLo’s acrylic painting Golden Static, an original 2026 abstract work in a 120 cm by 60 cm format, hand signed, shipped rolled from the Netherlands with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
MiLo – “Golden Static”
A bold abstract composition balancing repetition, rhythm, and spontaneous gesture. Layers of black and warm yellow tones create a raw, energetic surface over which a grid-like pattern of circular marks unfolds. The repeated forms evoke signals, coded systems, frequencies, or urban lights viewed through interference and movement.
Despite its structured appearance, the work retains a strong sense of immediacy and imperfection. Drips, uneven textures, and shifting transparency give the painting a dynamic and tactile quality, balancing control with spontaneity.
The contrast between the graphic circular elements and the expressive background creates a tension between order and chaos — a recurring theme within MiLo’s abstract practice.
The painting will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box for safe transport. A certificate of authenticity signed by the artist is included. The canvas can easily be stretched or framed by a local framer.
About the Artist
MiLo (1976) is an Amsterdam-based contemporary artist known for expressive abstract works that balance spontaneity, erosion, and structure. With a background in photography, graphic design, and mixed media, his practice evolved from action painting and gestural abstraction toward layered surfaces that explore rhythm, decay, urban textures, and emotional atmosphere.
His works often combine energetic mark-making with quieter fields of color and texture, creating compositions that feel both immediate and weathered over time. MiLo’s paintings are held in private collections, hotels, restaurants, and offices across Europe, the United States, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
