Museum quality, handmade brass bowl from the Middle East with various materials, including red and yellow copper and silver, possibly Egypt, in the style of the Mamluk revival, inlaid with silver and copper, dating from the early to mid-19th century.

This bowl is of exceptional quality and is worked to a high standard both inside and out. The connoisseur can tell the difference. The style is more restrained, with a formally decorated surface with copper outlines on a brass ground with a pattern, and featuring stylized silver scrolls and inlay work in Islamic calligraphic style. 
The bowl has a diameter of 10.5 cm and a height of 5 cm. And it weighs 246 grams. It is therefore a heavy bowl.

Museum kwaliteit, handgemaakte messing kom uit het Midden-Oosten met verschillende materialen, waaronder rood en geel koper en zilver, mogelijk Egypte, in de stijl van de Mamlukse heropleving, ingelegd met zilver en koper, daterend uit het begin tot midden van de 19e eeuw.

Deze kom is van uitzonderlijke kwaliteit en zowel binnen als van buiten met kwaliteit bewerkt. De kenner ziet het verschil. De stijl is ingetogener, met een formeel gedecoreerd oppervlak met koperen contouren op een messing ondergrond met een patroon, en voorzien van gestileerde zilveren krullen en inlegwerk in islamitische schriftstijl. 
De kom is doorsnee 10,5 cm en 5 cm hoog. En weegt 246 gram. Het is dus een zware kom.
