This collage-spray on canvas first strikes with its admitted collision of temporalities. Fragments of classical paintings, torn from their original solemnity, are projected into a tumult of acidic colors, tags, words thrown like flashes of voice. The gesture is frontal: it does not seek harmony but friction, the spark born from the clash between museum heritage and urban culture.

The superposition of ancient faces and contemporary photographs creates a kind of visual palimpsest, where each era tries to reclaim the floor. The spray, for its part, acts as an agent of contamination: it penetrates, covers, highlights, sometimes profanes, but always to reactivate the gaze. The inscriptions — “LOL”, “LOVE”, “ICI”, “L’ENVERS DU DÉCOR” — function as tonal ruptures, intrusions of the present into the memory of the images.

What is at stake here is less provocation than a rewriting of the canon: the artist does not quote, he reappropriates. He transforms the canvas into a space of tension where the museum meets the street, where the sacred rubs shoulders with the trivial, where art history becomes living, malleable, almost insolent matter. The result is a dense, vibrant visual theater that questions our way of looking at images and the narratives they carry.
