Luca Cartoonist - Just a donut

Luca Cartoonist, legally Luca Angelini, born in 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. Always passionate about comics (Disney most of all), he graduated in advertising graphics at the Art Institute of Ascoli Piceno and then completed his artistic studies by earning a degree in comics and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Drawing and painting will remain part of his life despite a different (yet always artistic) career path, up to 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to fully enter the world of pop art.
He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting them and placing them within contemporary situations, often using pop icons from yesterday and today.
He primarily uses acrylic paints, spray cans, and mixed printing and collage techniques on canvas.
Since 2021, collaborations with several Italian art galleries have seen him participate in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista…).

The artwork comes directly from the artist’s studio, in pristine condition.
The entire sculpture was handmade with 3D acrylic modeling clay, acrylic paint, and vinyl glue applied to canvas.
It is a unique original piece, not in a series, and will arrive ready to hang, i.e., framed. Accompanied by the relevant certificate of authenticity.
