Fern is the artist of PinTre, a unique 3 mm steel sculpture finished in oil, 68 cm wide, 38 cm high and 9 cm deep, weighing 3 kg, dated 2026, signed with a chisel.
Description from the seller
The work emerges from an intimate realm of emotions, crystallizing into a sculpture that condenses presence and sensitivity. Each angle reveals a nuance of beauty. As one contemplates it, the space becomes imbued with a subtle, almost latent energy; an invitation to experience life with intensity, contemplation, and strength.
Sculpture made from 3mm-thick steel sheets combined in an inspiring way.
Oil finish.
An authenticity certificate is attached.
Fern is the pseudonym used by the sculptor Clavo and the sculptor Carmen Lop when they work together.
Both artists work metal forging, principally iron and steel.
The techniques they employ are, above all, forging and welding.
Their styles range from figurative to abstract, passing through pop art.
They attach great importance to technique and artisanal work as the foundation for creating a good sculpture.
They have participated in numerous exhibitions, both collective and individual, mainly at the national level.
They have received awards separately, among which the “Premio de Escultura Urbana Ciudad de Ávila” in 2006 and the “Memorial a las Víctimas de la Violencia Machista” in Zaragoza in 2016 stand out.
They admire Spanish sculptors such as Martín Chirino, Jorge Oteiza, Eduardo Chillida or Julio González.
