The work plays with the ambiguity between spontaneity and construct, between the freedom of flight and the invisible power of brands that colonize even the collective imagination. In this 'celestial composition', the artificing dissolves into the air, suggesting that even natural gestures can be contaminated or reinterpreted through the filter of contemporary visual culture. This new work arises from the creativity of French artist Louis Dourand, known for having collaborated in the past with Santicri, in an artistic dialogue that blended different visual languages into a shared expressive vision. Santicri – with whom Louis Dourand has collaborated on several occasions – is one of the most established contemporary artists on the international scene.
He has exhibited his works in prestigious contexts such as Palazzo Grillo in Genoa in 2022 and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York in 2023.
In 2024 he was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists by Artmayeur and entered the top 3 of the most searched artists on Catawiki, alongside names such as Kaws and Banksy.
