Small rectangular box with rounded corners, in gilded brass, entirely adorned with a decoration of multicolored semi-precious stones set, arranged in stylized floral motifs, geometric reserves and scrollwork. The lid features a central relief medallion with carved decoration. Plain interior. Smooth bottom, unpunched.

Indian work, probably from the Kashmir region, early 20th century.

Petite boîte de forme rectangulaire à angles arrondis, en laiton doré, entièrement ornée d’un décor de pierres semi-précieuses polychromes serties, disposées en motifs floraux stylisés, réserves géométriques et rinceaux. Le couvercle présente un médaillon central en relief avec décor sculpté. Intérieur uni. Fond lisse non poinçonné.

Travail Indien, probablement région du Cachemire, début XXème.
