Description from the seller
Light Blue Abstract 23 – Indigo is a work created starting from an original photograph and subsequently processed on the computer, without the use of artificial intelligence.
The image develops through an abstract composition dominated by intense tones of indigo, azure and bluish purple, crossed by dark and fluid marks that evoke energetic movements, interior paths and cosmic vibrations. The material textures and luminous shades create depth and dynamism, transforming the surface into a space suspended between matter and imagination.
The work invites the viewer to a contemplative experience, where light, color and gesture blend in an evocative and spiritual dimension. The black lines that traverse the composition suggest invisible connections, tracing a continuous dialogue between balance and movement, silence and transformation.
Through chromatic abstraction and visual research, Light Blue Abstract 23 – Indigo creates a bridge between the concrete world and the inner one, evoking deep and immersive atmospheres with strong contemporary impact.
Barbara S Stamegna, a contemporary Roman artist and Knight of Culture, has received significant national and international recognitions, including the Oscar Prize for Visual Arts in Castrocaro Terme, the Grand Prize of Italy, the Pacis Cup Award in Florence, the Milanart Prize, the Europe Art Mediolanum Award and the International Portugal Prize (City of Lisbon).
She has exhibited in prestigious venues in Italy, including the renowned Via Margutta in Rome, and abroad with solo and group shows, participating several times in Artexpo New York. In 2023 she presented a four-month solo exhibition at the historic Palazzo Caetani (Italy).
