The neutral face, universal icon of detachment and emotional ambiguity, is reinterpreted through a broad and imperfect sign, traversed by drips that crack its apparent staticity. The expression remains suspended: neither positive nor negative, but blocked in an intermediate zone where emotion and absence of emotion coexist. What would normally convey immediacy in the digital realm becomes something more unstable and human.

The insertion of the brush breaks the two-dimensional surface and shifts the work into a hybrid dimension, between painting and sculpture.
