Tasting Notes
Color: Copper.
Nose: Strong notes of dark red fruits are immediately apparent. These are later accompanied by aromas of sandalwood, rum-soaked raisins, and cherries.
Palate: The flavor initially comes across as slightly cheesy and oily. Prominent aromas of dark sweet fruits, cinnamon, and, once again, a significant amount of sandalwood are noticeable. This is followed by a slight bitterness, which, however, is not particularly noticeable.
With water: When a little water is added to the whiskey, the alcohol is no longer quite as pronounced. The sweet fruit notes are slightly enhanced.
Finish: A medium-length finish accompanied by sandalwood aromas. These are reminiscent of a sandalwood lollipop coated in syrup.
