In this case, the most interesting corner of the wall is selected and cut, the one where the street artist had carried out the external intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once the cut is made, this piece of wall can be moved and placed indoors: in homes, in buildings, in museums or in other structures. In this way the work changes its environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a genuine artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.

The natural imperfections, marks and dents of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they attest to its urban life and reinforce the distinctive identity of true Street Art.
