Description from the seller
I_KONIQ (1969) - (stage name of Lijuk Crem) is a versatile artist who began his journey in the world of printing and graphics in 1988. His career started in offset printing, eventually becoming the CEO of an important North Italian typography and tripling its turnover in just a few years, where he acquired solid knowledge of printing techniques and visual dynamics.
Over the years, Lijuk expanded his scope, exploring new artistic possibilities and ranging from pop art to visual reinterpretations of famous characters. His style is distinguished by a unique fusion of pop culture, references to iconic tradition, and bold use of colors. Just as Andy Warhol did with Campbell’s cans, or Mario Schifano with Coca-Cola, Lijuk reinterprets familiar images, elevating the ordinary to the extraordinary through modern graphic techniques and visual irony.
Each of his works is a tribute to the iconography of popular culture, but at the same time I_KONIQ manages to imprint his personal vision, challenging and reinventing the very idea of celebrity and visual icons.
Today, Lijuk’s work testifies to how graphic art can evolve, maintaining its communicative strength intact while renewing it with a fresh and innovative perspective.
Each artwork is sold signed by hand on the front and numbered on the artwork (white edge on the border) so as not to spoil the beauty of the overall piece but to give it the correct value.
The print is produced with the Giclée technique in 12 steps of Digital Fine Art on premium glossy 380 g/m2 cotton canvas.
To preserve the colors over time, each piece is handmade and varnished with a special treatment for brightness, color enhancement, and protection against gradual deterioration.
Each artwork is shipped in a rigid cardboard tube to safeguard and protect your new purchase and, in addition to the artwork’s size, includes a side border for framing on the wooden frame, calculating a lateral thickness of 4 centimeters and a further outer border of over 4 cm that remains white for mounting on the back of the frame (not provided).
All of the artists’ works are the result of creative hands and diverse cultures, even though they all come together, blending into a unique harmony.
