AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

23x32 cm

Unique piece on glass and on paper.

Small white dots on glass, and background on paper made with spray paint.

2026

Since 2018, Warren Podguszer, known by the pseudonym Wawapod, has immersed himself in the Pop Art and street art scene in Paris, developing a unique style that fuses geometry and popular iconography. His work stands out for reusing emblematic icons through accumulations of dots, paying homage to the history of art and to popular figures he admires.

His works often have an initial abstract reading that becomes figurative depending on the distance from which you view them. He likes the idea that each person who observes his works does not necessarily see the same thing, but above all he enjoys playing with the observer’s eye.

By deconstructing certain masterpieces, he aims to reintroduce them to a wide audience and invites them to explore art history in a playful, modern, and democratic way.

Possibility to collect the artwork in the Paris region.

This work is a unique piece, hand-signed on the back and on the front by the artist.

Technique: Spray paint and acrylic on glass and paper.

Wawapod is a Parisian artist and street artist who exhibits across the country. His works are presented in several galleries in France and Europe.

WAWAPOD belongs to the same artistic current as: Jacques Villeglé, Invader, Jef Aerosol, Speedy Graphito, Vhils, Banksy, Mr. Brainwash, Obey, Shepard Fairey, OneMizer, C215, Basquiat, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, and Jerome Mesnager.
