Beautiful oil on linen painting.

De Kolk, Rotterdam, with the railway bridge and church and flower market.

It is painted and signed by the renowned painter Simon Thedorus Schaeffer, born in December 1924 and died in 2005. He collaborated a lot with his brother Jan Schaeffer. The collaboration lasted until 1959. He and his brother both trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam (evening program).

He painted, among other subjects, landscapes as a genre and cityscapes.

In good condition.
