Mid-century modern swan-style table lamp in Murano glass and metal – Italy, 1980s/1990s.
Elegant postmodern 'swan' table lamp (Art Deco Revival). A splendid and iconic vintage table lamp dating from the period spanning the 1980s to the 1990s, a superb example of Italian postmodern design with strong references to Art Deco geometries. The lamp stands out for its spectacular semicircular diffuser in precious Murano artistic glass, characterized by a refined semi-transparent filigree inner finish that creates a captivating dynamic texture of feathered or wavy pattern. The glass still bears in the center its original Murano authenticity label. The lampshade is framed by a two-tone geometric structure and is supported by a sturdy conical trunk-shaped base in glossy black lacquered metal, which gives the piece a strong graphic character typical of the Memphis style of the era.

Condition and Functionality: The piece presents in excellent overall aesthetic and structural condition, consistent with its age and careful use; a small scratch on the metal base is shown in the photos.
The glass is intact, free of chips or streaks. The electrical system is fully functional and equipped with a convenient E27 lamp holder, also suitable for modern low-energy LED bulbs (bulb not included).
